Vintage Mexico LA PALOMA Sterling Silver CROSS Pendant TAXCO 950 Such a beautifully designed cross so pretty with all the doves and flowers! Very interesting piece too!... the way it is marked shows that it was made in Taxco by an artisan with the first initial of his last name being V. He was the 20th artisan to be registered in Taxco with the last name beginning with the letter V. Also, Mexico has a metal purity marking system based on 1000. This piece is marked 950... which means it has a higher metal purity amount than the typical Sterling at 925! All that information in one little mark! Measures 1-3/4 inches tall including the bail and 1-1/8 inches wide. In beautiful condition!
